The august bicycles workshop is my new favourite place. Gav has some seriously good stuff hoarded.
Anyway, project rack is a go! Had a thought and drew some shit onto the CAD and it got the nod. Plan is for a porteur-style rack that bolts to the midblade and crown, with internal dynamo routing and mount and threaded bosses to bolt that Wald right on, with additional Tara-esque rails that bolt to additional (bottle-spaced, natch) bosses and the dropout eyelets, bracing across the strut for the rack, so they can be popped on with ease for touring.
Other than that, I think I actually have everything except the mudguards. And the gas-pipe stem. Ugh, money.

Draws light beams; ignores forum requisite poo.

Mmm... brazey
Brought the Wald and a pannier over to aid in the rack design. Mudguards should be arriving soon. Think I actually have everything now, pretty much. Well excite.
Mocked up with Horizons.

what are those two wide spaced mounts under the logo on the DT for?
-
• #196
They're going to take the three PMW triple bolt-on cable guides :) Will have a standoff spacer on the higher bottle boss to put a bottle cage on if necessary

Kind of tempted to cut the Salsa logos out of the dropouts. They're a bit clumsy
-
• #198
I imagine they're a little bit structural?
-
• #199
Difficult to say. They're otherwise quite beefy items. Logos barely touch the back side of the dropout

oh cool! thought for a moment it was for the world's biggest bottle cage or something
I have some very lightly used Spesh Roubaix bartape in black, you can have for a fiver and postage.
