It’s a coin toss between these two... skinny steel and 32s or ti and 27s... I’ve got about an hour to get it to Eurostar despatch!!

Do it on the old bike, you'll get more compliments

32s are 'cheating' so go with ti and 27s for the full on visceral experience

Which did you choose!?!

Old with 32s but am packing the 27mm pave if I’m feeling brave! 😬

Just rode Arenberg Monday morning. I got little past the bridge until I broke a spoke. Nobody tells you in advance it is downhill and you pick up lot of speed. It is easier to float over the cobbles going fast, but the road is also bumpy as hell so it is really easy to break your gear. Stay safe and take the five star sectors easy. The others are not that bad.

Lol no amount of wapping high street gets you prepared. Losing a spoke is quite extreme! What psi were you running?

Three people fell immediately in front of me at the trench, I came very close once. Was pretty crazy.
I have sunburn and a big blister on my right hand so came off fairly lightly. -
