I was thinking rough estimates on material needed for a certain amount.
Make however many possible with that material and sell at cost +donation+postage etc according to how many we got out of the material.
If there is demand or not enough were made then go again?I guess there would need to be a backing material which may or may not be reflective to hold it together as a polished product as well as structurally.

Grommet/Eyelet pliers seem relatively cheap. Someone may even have some to borrow.
Or better still a die tool set,

very much available for design! ...although looks like @tomo187 has pretty much nailed it ^^
happy to draught it up both options (or any other potential variants) in CAD/Vector format if necessary for template/quantity surveying purposes.
i'm really looking forward to seeing a few of these arranged in 'full pizza mode' formation before they go their respective ways.
are we thinking they'll be fully made up or be a kit of parts. might save some labour time if there's a sewn slice/crust base and then any toppings are iron on / adhesive? eg.

I think as a kit is a great idea.

Reflective pizza is great.
On the production side. Sewing the toppings on would be almost impossible, drive the person doing it mad and take a long time.

Kit form sounds good especially if it makes pd’s life easier. Is self adhesive a permanent fix? I like the thought of them being sewn so they last forever but imagine it’d be hella time consuming.

Original looks like a seam on the crust.
Maybe you just loose all mushrooms over time and you end up with a margherita? -

Yup that was my biggest concern - not sure how many toppings I could get through clean without killing myself. With a good bostik/contact adhesive most plastics will bond 'forever', and remain a little malleable.
Truck tarp can be tacked together with heat, that's how most lorry sheets are put together, so a lighter or a soldering iron are easy but can damage the material if you burn too hot for too long.
Kits would reduce sewing work considerably. I like the black one, it's how pizza looks if you fall asleep while it's cooking.

A thought occurs. If it’s a 2 colour design would it not just need two layers stuck together?
Base in one colour and a laser cut top section in another with the toppings cut out to show the layer beneath?
With a few colour variations in these two layers you’d end up with extra toppings in various colours as leftovers to include.I don’t know what I’m talking about but this drawing made me think it can be made in 2 pieces.

The self adhesive reflective vinyl has a very high adhesive as it's mostly used on road signs or vehicle graphics, you shouldn't have a problem with it lasting.
Whats the idea/spec of the pizza slice flag, I might be able to help with ideas on how best to produce it?
Edit* I work for a graphics/print company so should know what I'm doing! This would be a bit too 'custom' and 'one off' for us so not sure we could do it for a good price but happy to help where I can.

What are you guys actually going to do with these?
By which I mean what does one do with 'reflective touring triangles'?

Somebody suggest a mudflap.
Oh, there. I just did.
-

A fat slice for front mudflap, skinny one for rear.
If new year is okay for people, that reduces stress on me as I still need to get the machines back to the UK (or sell and buy again once back).
I want to make sure that @velocio makes some pennies from this, and so long as it's not weeks and weeks of my life then I will happily trade my time for others' money to donate to lufguss.
Key considerations for me/other-stitcher-people is design, and per pizza how much time and how much material. £8+vat on the base material may make the lfgss profit margin very slim.
Like all estimates we need to add x% for fuck ups and unforeseen toppings.
Are toppings glued or sewn?
Is the base side an extra layer? What material?
What material is used for the loops, and do we need to cost the tool for fixing (ie big rivets)?
Do people care about wobbly stitch lines?
What is a rough cost (+x%) per pizza?
What is the price paid per pizza?
How do we get them delivered?
What is the timescale?
I'd be very happy to five-finger the excess material in return for doing this, depending on how efficient the design is (is there even any useful material left over?)...
Let's overcomplicate this then complain about it, and make it simple again.
