Turn off your sound btw.
I have been using Sam's gasfluxer system with his little torch and braided hoses. Super light system.

We have spent most of the day talking to this guy who wanted to do an article on Sam and making a jig for mitrering the wishbones. This means that we didn't get as far as we wanted, but hey we had fun.

but hey we had fun.
Looks like you did :)
Can't wait to see the finished frames!

I like the way you see a bent price of steel then try to work out which part of the jigsaw its meant to fit.
The bent seatpost and bottom bracket was a conundrum. -

Mine doesn't have the bent seat tube. I needed a 620mm seatpost and the only come in 550mm

Aaah - for a moment there I thought you were making it with a seat mast.

Awesome. Can I photograph it when it’s done?
-

Mine yes, but Sam is actually a professional photographer that ventured into frame building years ago

Last photos of the weekend. I am hoping to get to work on my frame after work tomorrow.
This is what we got around to make + a couple of jigs and new solutions for Sam's workshop:

Those Bear Frame SS dropouts look tidy.
Interested to see what they come up with for a disc version. :) -

insanely beautiful, I am jealous of everything but mostly #tuktitude .. tell me the ST angle of the smallest one, chainstay length and wheelbase pls?
-

This is my geo.
It is different from the others.
My CS length will be 415 when hardware gets mounted in the dropouts. The others will be 420mm and won't be such tukt because of the 29er seat tube. ST is 76° but will be equivalent of 73.5° with 15-20mm setback seatpost. Mine is super tukt and the others have more space for mud. This is to test if seat tube tuktness will actually mean mud clogging. I have loads of space around CS and wishbone, but a little less than Sam's.Wheelbase is sub 1000mm. Mine is 1003mm as a size 60 frame
