The average speed with roads in that state is impressive.
Knees are not creaking anymore I presume. -

Knees are great thanks. Felt very little pain in my right knee and hardly anything now I am one the couch.
48/16 was too much tho. -

Mad respect for that performance, and fantastic pictures as always.

Awesome read especially when you‘re doomed to zwift
Love the rack construction, too. Very smart

Well Zwift is actually what got me here. Although worse for my knees than outdoor rides it has meant I could sneak in an hour here and there without the whole getting dressed for cold weather, washing bikes etc. This year I am in a much better early season condition than ever since I had kids.
Thanks Zwift -

so good! i'd buy a pair just as ornaments.

I'm a constant embarrassment to her

Dropouts arrived at my workshop yesterday, making their way to the cold north as we speak.

this looks so clean and "in line". how much weight does it take, you think?
-
• #7019
I have not tested it yet, but a Rixen Kaul Klickfix system take 5kg so my rack will definitely be fine for that.
And I am not sure you'd want to carry more. I imagine a camera and a raincoat and some snacks are less than 5kg -

Seat tube/top tube fish mouth is really nice (also means a stronger/longer fillet?)!
Also good looking bend, really subtle. -

Gorgeous day but treacherous riding surfaces at times
