could you get a through axle front hub with iso disc mounts on both sides (pref boost for wider flange spacing) then with some machined spacers use it in the rear as a disc one side / fixed cog other with no thread on adapters necessary :-)
Prob be too narrow won’t it..?

But apparently I'm not the only one!

This is actually a smart idea.
I reckon using spacers to get the cog and disc out to where you want them because of chainline.
Or bolt two of those adapters on at each end with extra long bolts; easy 10mm on each side added. The extra contact surface would give me peace of mind -

Shared this Marin some time ago but finished it today. I gave it the royal treatment. Was gonna have it as a loaner MTB but I put it up for sale instead

I don't normally like MTBs, but you make the best looking ones.

Awesome. Let me know :-)

Number one on the list is local and it looks like he is up for it. I'll give you a shout if not

Just came across this new (to me) idea/way of attaching a frame bag that should prevent almost any movement and give a lot of extra rigidity to the bag itself.

You've probably seen this before but I thought it would be cool to share anyway. :-)
Maybe something to incorporate into your future frame builds together with @Tijmen?Edit: the timestamp doesn't seem to work in the embedded video.

I wouldn't worry about the holes, I use washers with a layer of neoprene layer to grip instead of cut the fabric which I'd say create a fairly dependable seal in the process.
Having done a couple of bolt-on frame bags now I do like them for their super clean look, but from a purely functional perspective nothing beats a lace-up for me.

• #6818
Don’t bolt on bags give you clean lines with the bag on at the expense of not having clean lines with the bag off? I’d rather have a lace-up bag than have a bike full of barnacles.

You are now second in line for this.

Definitely a fair point. Also why I think I'll have to drop by Jaap's at some point to have them added to my gravel bike as that will more or less always have at least half a frame bag but I'm not so sure about the ATB Huls will be making me.

My toes have gone numb just looking at this

I'd rather have a bag I can remove quickly and easily without tools. Barnacles I can live with. Having to fanny about with weeny Allen head bolts each time I want to remove a frame bag, no thanks.
It would also work with a Paul work single speed hub but other type of money we're talking there
