Is it worth offering up some cranks too to make sure there’s enough clearance for chainrings and ends of crank arms? Or will it definitely be fine already?

Well according to zero calculations it should be perfect for 50/34 but you are right I should test it.
I won't have it painted until it is approved by my better half anyways :)

I can't wait for her to ride it. She is so freaking critical of everything I make (she is also a designer) and she is mega skeptical about the 26" wheels.
Anyways, the bike just seems to come together by itself. It has been good for me to hang out with Sam and learn from him.
