Last night I found a neat way of mounting the hood without need to add a roll cage.
The good thing is that it is removable should I need to carry something big without wanting to remove the entire seat.

I thought it was tapered but @SasenFrAsen was asking for it for his Geekhouse, which is 1 1/8th in the photos.
Sorry to question whether it is Enve. The shape looked right, but they came matte not gloss as I recall so guess it was painted at some stage.
We got the same one, for the same reasons. At 18 months ish hes starting to outgrow it though
