The frame is tacked and I have done a thinning layer of brass. Next step is to mount chain stays on to the frame, then wishbone seat stay and then bosses etc.
I have had some issues getting the post mount solution fitted to the chain stay, but It seems to have been sorted now. -

Can you explain this please?

a thinning layer of brass. What more do you need to know?! Pretty self explanatory

This is awesome

I think it's a typo, and actually tinning?
The equivalent of a fusion weld.

Yes @Scilly.Suffolk what Matt says. Tinning layer. I'll snap some photos tomorrow.
The idea is that you stabilise the main triangle by doing this while is in the jig, using a quadrant approach. After this I then build fillets in quadrants. Basically I don't have a alignment table anymore and this technique should help avoid having to use that. It is a first time for me doing it this way. -

Thanks.

Tinning. It looks a bit messy, but will be dope once fillets are done over this.

Wow. Not much spare space for the fillet between top tube and head tube. Total slammage.
Will this be getting one of those instafriendly triple chainsets?

Hopefully I can get away with a small fillet on the toptube and also shape the transition nicely despite of the lip on the headtube

The frame seems fairly straight :)

Very very good. Have you got both bolt holes for the post mount rear on or just one?
-
• #45
Just one on the chainstay, the other M6 hole will be attached to the seatstay.

Ooof you are going all out. I do like that solution, I've seen it on a couple frames and it looks very neat and smart

Crack Pipe Brake Mount.
Yellow lines represent my current considerations. I am not sure the crack pipe will be strong enough without some triangulation/support/bracing.

It's gotta be the hardest and most error prone way to get a brake mount on a frame though.
I guess the crack-pipe bit on this one is to move caliper forward so that the seat stay doesn't get in the way of caliper adjustment.

For sure. It is not sane. But this is a brother love project and if I fail I will start over.
Yeah, but mostly because I need to change the geometry of the rear triangle to have an similar mount as the chainstay.

Hope it goes well :)
