I am going to try the disc on my Bridgestone Anchor first, then transfer to the Parlee when built.
The disc is much ligher than anticipated.

Where did you get your Mavic wheels @HoKe ?
There is a more recent wheelset on eBay right now:

Got mine on eBay for a very good deal (£1000 for both wheels) plus it matches the period of this bike #matchymatchy

Sweet wheels but why elbows inside??
-
• #114
The only way
-
• #115
Do you even triangle
-
• #116
Do you even aero
-
• #117
Edit too slow ffs
-
• #118
If the brief was aero you might've wanted to use less spokes in the first place
-
• #119
Fewer, perhaps

Got me 🤐

Some daytime pictures.
Elbows out reminds me of Ace Ventura Laces Out
When I lace radial, I sometimes put one elbow in, one elbow out. Aero-ness is not my priority.
The main reason why the front is radially laced is the price of the spokes.
An eBay seller has 254mm ACI double butted stainless steel spokes at 10p or less (depending on volumes) including postage.

Sweet wheels.
Were those hubs heavy as hell? Don't suppose you know how much they weighed?
-
• #123
Front = light & I think it is just alloy as it feels too light to be stainless steel.
Rear = weights a ton and is definitely stainless steel.@Porky on here works for Goldtec and has some of those prototype hubs left on the shelves
EDIT: You can buy them, they are not shown on the website but you can email them

Interesting. I was offered a set a good few years back when I was chatting to someone on the phone at Goldtec. Wish I'd gone for them now as they look amazing!
