Seriously strong stuff.

UHC update. Dan Evans and Rowan Brackston killing it.
Joint 28th with a 1:39 by the looks of StuWeb timing. Rollapaluza's organisation, classification and publication is all a bit wonky though so who knows.

Saw this out the corner of my eye on the way down the hill so tried to get a decent pic.
Looking pro.

Looks like 7th in the NRC Walbury Hill Climb today. Worth packing the SubFive into an IKEA bag to get it on a rail-replacement bus this morning.

Was a helmet mandatory for this event?

XL are half price on Evans. Normally I'd choose L but they're fine on my size 9 1/2s (45 in made-up-euro-cycling-disco-slipper size)

Yeah. Something to do with their insurance.

Chain and cassette are sparking after getting manky on Walbury Hill.
Dry lube, or very minimal wet lube?
-
• #346
Wax it up.

Just curious....
By "sparking" is this slang for something or are you throwing actual sparks off the drivechain/cassette for metal on metal contact under high load ?Never seen sparking before, well only when it involved rocks hitting the bikes, and brake rotors glowing red :)

Action shots (not by me)
Surprised and extremely happy to win my first ever open this morning at the Kingston Wheelers event on Leith Hill.
No doubt this means my legs will be mince for the UHC later. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
