Surprised and extremely happy to win my first ever open this morning at the Kingston Wheelers event on Leith Hill.

No doubt this means my legs will be mince for the UHC later. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Chain and cassette are sparking after getting manky on Walbury Hill.

Just curious....
By "sparking" is this slang for something or are you throwing actual sparks off the drivechain/cassette for metal on metal contact under high load ?

Never seen sparking before, well only when it involved rocks hitting the bikes, and brake rotors glowing red :)
