Do you want compact for the 36t? Because you could use 50/38 on 130bcd cranks and you'd just miss the 2t bottom end

But obviously 38/28 is not the same as 34/28

EDIT: I have a similar issue with a 130bcd chainset I'd like to use with 46/36 chainrings, so I am considering 48/38 instead.

This bike needs WI or TA cranks and 7400 DA derailleurs with DT shifters for maximum instagrammage , or at least not shitty Sora honestly it's shite.
