  • Calipers are never rotor size specific. Just get a 140 rear theres plenty about and you wont notice a difference between that and 160

  • They are, e.g. Hope RX4 won't fit 140mm with flat mount.

  • Just spoke to Edgesports UK and they confirm that the F1 flat mount Juins are designed specifically to fit 160 rotors so no way to use with a 140 (at the rear anyway). They are pretty hard to get hold of so I'm gonna offer them for sale on the other disk brake thread before I return them.

  • Why not? Deets? Ive only ever used 160 tbf, should stop spreading false info

  • Caliper basically mounts directly to the flat mount outwith any adaptors, to suit a 160mm rotor only.

They could have made it to suit 140mm but then you'd need adaptors for 160mm rotors - suppose they figured a seamless fit for 160mm was better than accommodating 140mm rotors.

Compare the Hope front caliper to Shimano (where I believe you reverse the adaptor to suit 140/160 rotors)

  • Gonna get this for the triton, its gonna be L I T.

  • Next step

  • Bar end mirror just to avoid that

  • Next stop SPD sandals, or are you going straight to barefoot pedals?

  • Not all sandals are created equal

  • There was a guy on the last audax i did in those, he was quick!

  • xX_audaxboiiamey_Xx

  • Seriously though, I'm stoked on this bike, keep it up!

  • Needs

  • SPD sandals are one of the best cycling purchases I've bought. Perfect for any multi day rides. There's also a huge pleasure in overtaking people on carbon bikes and tri bars when you're wearing sandals, oh so satisfying

  • Met a guy touring on them this summer, and he was also crazy about them. Especially in the rain, because he just let his feet get wet without unsuccessfully fighting to keep them dry. And then they dry easily as well, once the rain stops. Pretty interesting.

  • Yeah that is where they come into their own. No soggy socks or wet shoes the following morning.

You get some funky tan lines though

  • Lufguss has truly completed its migration to being a franchise of Audax UK

  • dont say that out loud, people on YACF will murder you

  • Ha.

Worst pair of wheels I ever bought was from YACF-h plus etc advertised as good unused condition and they'd been to the fucking moon and back, dented, filthy...

Old duffer that sold them was a complete cunt about taking them back too so hope it's not representative of the wider ambience..

  • complete cunt

did you suggest he should join in here, sounds like he'd have fitted right in
