Canyon fitted (@jammy 😘 ), slammed and therefore finished. The canyon seatpost is amazing, super flexible. I just need to get back to race fitness again.

so how does the Di2 cable travel through bars and into the frame exactly?

Basically I just tucked the long cable above the junction box in the little recess that the integrated bars have, so the cable comes out right at the back of the stem. Not perfect, but much neater imho.

There is actually a slightly neater grommet, but I never found a spare around the office.

what happened to the cover? tape just do the work?

the cover is shit, tape actually works.

what if you turn the junction box around (so the cables enter from the back) and push it further into the tab?

Also can you post a pic of where it says 'H36' just need reach and drop.

just did some research no cover though my bad, what was the reason you tape on it does it easily come off while you riding?

yeah, because of the pressure the wires going in to the junction box kind of pushes it away from the cover, so unless you tape it the fucking thing pops out when you hit a pothole. Bit of tape, problem solved.

So far I can only find a Bowman Layhams Disc or a Fairlight Strael. Genesis Equilibrium Disc looks good but no Di2 drilling and the colours are grotesque. Preferably steel but open to anything really.

lent my Pinnacle to someone to do some product testing on the Strade Bianche and they brought it back fucked. out of love with it now. Would get a Layhams disc but it's insanely pricey and just... I have a thing about Bowmans. Wouldn't spend half of that on one.

I know the feeling. I'm getting the itch too. I want something that rides as good as my caad12 but takes the tyres and guards like the pinnacle. Doesn't seem to be anything around at the moment that fits what I want perfectly:
Oversize tubing with 44mm or tapered headtube
External or semi integrated headset
Takes 700x38c plus guards
Closer to square than compact geo
Full internal all cables
Flat mount
12mm TA
No rack mounts

But I think I just scratched my new bike itch by buying a Ritchey ascent breakaway frameset (they're on super markdown clearout in the US at the mo).

Isn't the new bowman pilgrims drilled for Di2? With removable plates like the palace
