If you fancy it during the Summer, we could do some longer Epping rides. Perhaps ones that continue into the dark, to get used to that aspect?
Offer open to all, even if you only want to do part of the ride.

That would be awesome, I'd really like that.
I'm busy Mon-Fri pretty much forever now (semi in process of job change) so it would be weekends only but I would definitely be into that. -

Weekends will be fine :-)

@BareNecessities @xkittyx I might be up for some longer rides around Epping. Sounds fun.

I'll be sure to post them here, in advance. Probably in June/July.

Today, I'll be attempting my first solo outdoor ride of the year.
My 'fuel' for the day will be chocolate filled mini brioche.

A tree branch attacked me and tried to rip my ear off. This sort of thing never happened to me on the turbo trainer!

Went shopping this morning and somehow managed to not buy beer*, ice-cream, chocolate, biscuits, etc..
Current weight is 116kg, down from 118kg.
Hopefully getting out for a road ride tomorrow.
*I hardly drink any beer, but I do have a real sweet tooth.

Managed a 40 mile ride to the coast and back today. Perhaps could have made it longer, but I'm still adjusting to the reduced calorie intake.

56 miles of Norfolk lanes today
-
• #99
That's way outside the M25 and doesn't count as a valid tag. :)
Well done, must have been windy out there today?

It's always windy in Norfolk :-)
I am however, planning all my routes around the predicted wind direction, so I don't have to suffer a headwind in the last few miles. Mentally, it seems to make a huge difference.
Put my entry in this morning. Not very fit at the moment, probs do it singlespeed because I'm scared of killing my mechs and also it gives me an excuse for being slow.
