  • Wait. That's not Velocio?

  • I have all of the parts to fit the rear fender now, it's just not all in one place.

So early next week I'll do that.

The Minoura handlebar extender works pretty well too... so I have lights just in time for the dark rides home :)

  • With reference to post 1100.
The tiny 10mm x 1m roll of the magic 'Black but reflects white' 3M tape just arrived by Royal Mail.

  • Where are you going to use it?

I rode my Robin Mather in today... certainly nice to have black rims rather than stickered rims. Will be de-stickering the rims on the Seven methinks... though still open to the 3M reflectives for rim decals.

  • Well I'm assuming that such a bright white reflectivity should be treated like lights,
    i.e., not rear-facing?
I had thought about a couple of patches on each side of the forks and the rear stays,
the forward facing edge pedals, and a couple of bits on the front and side of bike helmets.

  • Lots of cycling clothes have 3m piping that reflects back as silvery white. My ortlieb bags have white reflective pouches.

None of the above give me cause for concern.

  • Wow, want.

    No...

    NEED!

  • De-stickered the Enve rims.

Yeah, you were all right. They look far better.

Also added the Swarf carbon fender to the rear... it is very nice. I do not think that I will paint them, sorry guys.

  • requires pics, how was swarf installation?

  • Swarf installation was effortless.

I cannot lay claim to have used the correct drill bit size... but I just waved the Dremel around a bit and it worked well enough.

Will finish the installation of the front camera and do pictures later this week.

  • I do not think that I will paint them, sorry guys.

    *starts petition at change.org

  • Lol!!

  • Need angle grinder now.

Perhaps the Dremel has one, will check later.

  • Pretty sure I saw yourself and this machine outside Buckingham Palace this morning? Pretty unmistakeable colour and geo.

  • Some photos showing what is probably the final configuration.

The Swarf mudguard is excellent, though I still have to tweak the final position and trim off the fender stays.

I also show the front equipment cluster as it looks excessive due to the battery on the side angle, but from the front it's pretty tidy.

  • Do you have any photos of the handlebar/bracket configuration up front?

  • Where are your flaps

  • Just added that... need another?

It's using the Minoura SG 400 extender: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/accessories/large-2735mm-minoura-space-mount-sg-400-short-extension/

My bars are actually quite narrow, 40 cm, and so there's not much by the way of unwrapped space to separately mount the tech bits and I dislike things like the K-edge mount where one would try and hang it all from a single thin mount.

  • It's too early for innuendo

  • I was damn sceptical about the front mount thing. Looks very clean
