I agree you notion, but I stand with saying j bends are better / an advantage as for the reasons mentions, I want to be able to grab spokes easily even if they are not the same spec etc.
100% go hope, got 3 pairs in the household and wouldn’t buy much else!

A much needed update to this bike as it's filthy and hasn't seen much sunlight during the cold New York winter.
Have all new Zipp finishing kit on it's way as mine became a bit of a hodge podge of stuff to make it fit how I wanted to. Have gone back to a Romin from a Specialized Power. I was tempted to buy Parlee finishing kit for a decent price but the price is not justifiable to me, for the sake of 200 grams and some swag points. Also got a new Outer Shell bar bag for longer rides. A saddle bag is too big and kinda not that useful for getting stuff out whilst riding. It's doable, but a pain...

Custom made framebag perhaps?

Na. I like this guy.
Easily big enough for a gilet, arm warmers, multi tool, point and shoot and food for the day. Means I can ride with empty jersey pockets and that's all I want.

Just checked it, that's the Drawcord model? rather like it, not as big as a proper handlebar bag but not as small as a roll bag.
A good framebag make the bike feel nearly 100% nominal hence the suggestion, was pretty useful in a commute.

Just got one of these too. Which I use in my Talbot as well.
I like it.
Only bought it because Spatr had one. Bought black but wish I'd got leopard print.

Sames. Used Spatty's in the Dolomites in the summer to house an SLR and it was great.

Since my last update, I have moved to California. I now have the space for more than one bike and no longer require a bike with mudguards.
So, I just bought a Seven from eBay to be my full time road bike.
Meaning, the Talbot is gonna become a flat bar gravel bike. Updates to come...

Hell yeah! That's great!
Because the spokes have to bend making it weaker than a straight pull?
J bend spokes are popular because it’s just easier to drill a hole on a hubs than make one dedicate to straight pull as well as availability and spokes pattern.
