Joscelin Lowden’s ‘borrowed’ national hill-climb winning bike.
Lowden’s machine could be described as ‘cobbled together’, as it features the Planet X frame of her brother James’s bike, as evidenced by his name still present on the top tube, and an array of components.
Proof, perhaps, that you really don’t need to spend large sums on a bike fit to win a national titles. -

Aloha....
What about these? Litespeed Ghisallo, That's the chunkier one. The one below is a Guru Evolo + fork is a 1.1kg frameset with a pair of tune skyline tubs.

Psyched for it being down south next year, although it seems there's actually only about an hour's time difference between Norwich - Shelsley Walsh and Norwich - Hedley on the Hill!
I've had a look at some photos from the HC on that course from this year, and I really hope they don't keep the fans behind the fenced off sections for the Nationals, it's so far away in places.
Anybody ridden it?

PJ (formerly of this Parish I understand) has produced a second edition of his excellent book to cover a few more of the recent editions of National.
Not sure how you can order, you can get in touch via Instagram or Twitter and buy direct as he makes more money that way.

Not many posts this year huh?
Mercredi HC bike. I think there's a wonderful anachronism to a bespoke steel HC bike in 2018.

So good! I love the idea of having a bike-fit specifically for 12% gradients. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder mind. I’m sure it’s fictional.

Reckon I could crowdfund from LFGSS to get my wonky old PX rims relaced?
