Consider that hack stolen.

Not much, but sewing a couple loops on these toe protectors from vessel workshop will make them fit over cages so you don’t have to have flat pedals on a steel bike to have dry toes..

Never forget your tracknut spanner again...

Should put the spanner head on the actual track nut and tape or strap the handle to the chainstay
-
• #933
Wouldn't work in this case — body of spanner would be at an angle to chainstay
-
• #934
Yeah, guess you'd need an open ended spanner

Yh this is the Campagnolo 'Peanut Butter' wrench, and is no longer made... a sufficiently desirable piece of kit to be a theft risk perhaps!

Thats probably a lot safer than many early mopeds. Many of them just had cheap stamped caliper rim brakes.

yeah, v-brake on a motorbike = totally fine!
quite ingenious how it appears they have mounted the drive cog to 6 bolt disk mount on the NDS!

Its not even a V-brake. I'm just saying there are legal vehicles with worse brakes.
Its usual to mount one of these engines to the NDS. That way you don't have to turn the pedals when its on motor only.
At least this one appears to be utilising the disc mount. I've seen some where they just bolt it to the spokes.

Is that a builder's lid on the handlebars also?
(bet they were wearing rugby socks...)

nice looking bodge, but I'd be worried about water ingress with the light being so close to the tyre.

Yes, good point. the Edelux is supposed to be waterproof, the connectors are on the underneath so mostly out of harms way. But it is kind of in the firing line there.
I'll keep an eye on it next time its wet, I probably wont be waiting too long.
Briliant. Very inspiring.
