  • This bike is gonna be silly alright!

  • What are you going to do about the rear brake situation?

  • Hoping to be able to make an xt(r) v brake work on such a wide rim, or maybe a magura hs22.

Ooooor get a disc tab welded on. But its also kinda a shame since its so nice right now, and i also have a pretty fucked rockhopper i was planning on doing that to first.

  • Hot damn, can't wait to see how this one turns out!

  • Inappropriate use of Chris King 10/10

  • Please don’t weld, it’s so nice as it is, but having said that I think it’s going to be a struggle to make V’s work with such a wide rim

    There are other options though

  • Yeah.
Are those rims going to like rim brakes tho?

  • Haha shit yea that one's almost just plain disrespectful! but in a good way ;)

  • You're right, it would be shame to weld it, but so would mounting that atrocity haha ;)

@Hulsroy they are actually designed for rim brakes, and even to be ground with an angle grinder several times through out their life, for extra bite.

  • I hope you plan on putting the beige Fat Franks on that. Be a shame not to ;)

  • Just run it fixed with a bolt on cog. no need for any rear brake....

  • I think he's got a coaster hub/wheel somewhere...

  • Hah it would start to look a lot like your bicycle speedway thing. That still going strong?

@frankenbike lol njaaa ill save the klunk for some other build ;)

  • Haha i used them as a placeholder to see if they fit in the frame. They do! 2.35"is super plump looking on such a wide rim. But im going to go for something black

I really like the look of HolyRollers, but weigh so much. Maybe a vittoria tattoo lite

  • Looks good.. But you need Rat Trap Passes' obviously :D

  • It’s decorating the bedroom wall atm. There’s some cog/lockring slippage that I can’t be arsed to sort out because I have too many bikes and too little time.

  • Bummer. Such a sick bike, couldnt believe my eyes first time i saw it. Isnt there some way to convert a front disc hub to 120mm for a bolt on?

  • It’s probably just a question of dismantling and reassemble with or without a spacer.

  • I wanted to see it with wheels on.. excuse the phone pic

  • Hawt

  • Your Instagram is like my favourite. Just wondering, how come you see so many weird/awesome bikes? Related to your job in some way or is it just because of the Scandinavian high bicycle number density?

  • Cheers man! appreciate that.

A mix of both i guess. Im a mechanic (and graphic designer / SoMe guy) for a mobile workshop company, so i meet up a new place every day, meaning i have a different commute every day. And yea there is just heaps of bikes around. I just keep my eyes peeled and post things catch my attention ;)
