  • Looks shit

    Give to me

    😘

  • @SideshowBob cheers, just need the chainset and think that might be it.

    @TM O RLY?

  • So so good, you've used just the right amount of dark to really make the frame pop, really good job

  • Ha so nice nice i wrote it twice....

  • Ya rly

    Italian frame with Shramano.... Straight to anti !

  • Ah man you should have seen the packaging for the front derailleur, pretty soulless, like something from a vending machine. The price and shifting feel compared to campag made all those worries disappear though (imho).

  • STOP RIDING!

    Dont let anodising wear off before tumblr/prolly pics.

  • Came together nice.
    Would have been nicier with 5-arm Chorus. :)

  • Overall weight?

  • @amey ARG! Possibility of resisting isn't looking good.

    @anidel Not light with those over-sized tubes. Haven't given it the beans properly, but the bb 'deforming' under wattage bazooka seems minimal compared any of my previous steel frames. Away this weekend but will let you know weight when I'm back in London.

  • Thin I would have gon fo a colour on t' barz...

    Nice jahb doe. B^)

  • Yeah it doesn't flex much which is why it is also good in climbing.
    I think newer models were lighter.

  • @anidel coming in at 10.1kg.

    Tyres now fully pumped it's an ultra smooth ride, surprisingly stiff at the mid/rear but slight flex at the front with the 125mm quill stem. Chainset ordered tonight too so almost there!

  • Well not bad. Flex might also be due to the size of the frame itself. Being quite big, flexes more than a smaller one?
    Rear is very strong and stiff, no wonder it was considered a great climbing frame!

    Btw not bad at 10.1kg, wheels and bigger frame probably make up the difference with mine.

  • Sorry bruv

  • Will get out and take some better photos soon, but here you go. There's a very slight gap on the non-drive side BB cup against the shell, but just going to keep an eye on this. Slightly surprised as never noticed this with the previous Sram BB.

  • Such a good build...congrats...when do we go out together with our Leader AX bikes?

  • Brilliant.

  • @anidel Thank you for taking my money. I like the sound of this, will pos PM you when I get a suitable weekend.

    @alialias Thanks a lot

  • Is it Italian BB?

    Think you need a 2mm spacer in there...? I'm possibly wrong tho...

    Looking awesome, would love to see it with black tyres.

  • Yes Italian and very good shout, will give that a try. Thanks a lot, I can see where you're coming from with the black tyres.

  • I quite like the gum walls, you should put some Vittoria G+ on. Great looking build.

  • £50 each :/
