From the comments it appears that most donors got the joke but a couple may find that they rushed to give money to the odious woman.

The reality is that the publicity from the case probably benefits both of them in the long run. Really pleased for Jack Monroe. Not so for Hopkins.

I hope she loses a libel case and has to pay out a shit load of money.

Hopkins is pretty gross for no reason at 8:20, Catherwood just plays it with a straight bat and then probes pretty robustly to get a straight answer.

No. What may have harmed her case was her refusal to give evidence and therefore open herself to cross examination but there is no need for a paty to be present. Sometimes it is an advantage not to have them there.
