Is its current state ready for a photo shoot, or does it still need a bit of work? :)

Rowdy!
Does bars need tilting down a tad and levers up? Or is it just the stem that makes it look funky?
Also... Front mudguard bracket should be behind the crown no? -
• #232
That front mudguard looks even shorter than a bluemels.
I'm thinking you're going to need a really long flap. But the bike looks awesome!
-
• #233
It's quite short, yeah. The rear one isn't that long either. Will get moved behind the crown when I sort out a longer bracket.

Not sure, but maybe. But you do say that about all my bikes.

Love the bottle cage positioning

I can recommend rubber sheets found in Biltema's auto parts shelves along with gasket materials for flaps.

I did go, I just didn't cycle...

what a kill-joy ;)
But I guess none of my bikes are as nice as this, so Biltema stuff doesn't look out of place on them.. -

Bent spoke or optical illusion? Looks great by the way!

Hmm. Good spot. I'll have to check that.

Donβt worry. Itβs only an issue if the bike is ridden.

@Simba came by yesterday with an old 16" Kona Lava Dome that he stored for me for a while. It'll now become my sons next bike. I'm in no hurry as I'm pretty sure it's a bit too big for him still. First problem is that some of the old Konas use a dog collar cable guide that clamp onto the seat tube. My frame was missing one, so while I wait for the one @Hulsroy maybe has at his Danish shop, I made a temporary solution:

The same @Simba sent me a link to the Danish version of Gumtree and after a quick trip to bumfuck nowhere I was the proud owner of yet another Β£20 Kona. Stuck seatpost, but otherwise in pretty good nick. Fork was fucked, so cut off the steerer for later use and found a Klein version of the P2 fork for 3 beers. As he also had a P2, I grabbed that as well...

I started out by sourcing another fork and removed a horrible drum brake tab from it. Axle to crown is 5 mm longer than the original, which should be just fine. I'll add some braze ons for a massive Wald basket at a later point.

Quality tinkering. And now what?
