I have three trips to Sweden planned over the next few months, so you might actually spot the Hulsroy in the wild!

Still need to build a new front wheel, but it's rideable. Other little tweaks include de-logoing the stem, buy and mount some tubeless tyres and mount the SS 'hanger'.
Found out that brake discs can be bought too cheap, but they'll do for now...

And it's done. Everything is torqued upand the new wheels are done and sat up tubeless. Bit heavier than I had guessed, but who cares? If the tyres hold pressure overnight, I might sneak out early for a quick test ride before work.
Sorry for the shit pic...

Maybe spray cans die when they get below freezing? The black Hammerite I’ve used doesn’t want to dry. Seemed a bit runny as well when I sprayed it. Have left it to dry overnight...

Obviously. Everybody should use more Cardboard Aided Design!

Done for now. Dynamo wire will run along the brake hose to be as hidden as possible.

Are you running dynamo wire along hydro cable?

• #219
Brake hose = hydro cable, so yes :)

Neat mount. Now drill the frame for internal wiring ;)

It's been a while. The Hulsroy still haven't been ridden in anger, but I braved the cold today and got it closer to finished.
Bought Radial mudguards a long while ago and lost the mounting hardware somewhere along the way. Scavenged some mounts from some old SKS guards, bent them to fit, drilled the guards and riveted them in place.
Got most of the dynamo wiring done as well. Ran it along the brake hose with self-amalgamating tape.

There is an abandoned one in our communal bike shed, I moved it for space and the thing must be around 12kg.
