Thanks - feels good getting stuff sorted out ;)
Took the Arkose for a shakedown ride tonight. I think I'll lower the front a bit more, as it felt quite upright. I think I have a low headset cover somewhere that can replace the FSA cone.
Had some pinging noises that followed the rotation of the wheel, which I assume is from the mudguards. I'll give the whole bike a once-over with a torque wrench to make sure nothing is loose. Might also be the rotors, as I had to fettle quite a bit to stop them rubbing. Maybe the brake mounts could do with a facing... -

Hey,
What a hoard! I might be interested in the 7700 group and Time forks if you're wanting rid without building up as a full bike? Let me know, ta

Ok cheers and Good luck with the rest of the clearout-makes my magic cupboard of frames and bits look quite conservative by comparison!

A bit of threadcromancy...
Instead of spamming the Show me your shed thread I'll follow @Hulsroy s suggestion and keep this one going. The apartment has been cleared of bike parts to make way for a lady and her cat. I've take a few car loads to the dump which made the garage useable again. And I think I have less frames and parts than last year.
Had an hour in the garage tonight which I spent sorting out a holder for my new torx and hex keys.

I still need to toss a bunch of stuff and make more shelves, but it's getting there. Next bike project will be my Hulsroy allroad.

Whoa, progress! Workshop envy.
-
• #117
Is that really the same space?! It's a nice tidy workshop that. I'm a bit jealous of all the tools.

Yeah, quite happy with how it's turning out.
I started reorganising the tools a bit. Bike specific stuff in the left wall and common tools and motorcycle/car specific stuff on the rear wall.
Still need to do a lot more shelving and find a proper way of storing akward stuff such as headset presses, bottom bracket taps and so on.

Rode past work to water some plants and pick up a package that had shown up after I left yesterday. That means wheelbuilding while watching the World Cup later.

Good inspiration. I need to organise my garage like this.

As mentioned in the 'Show me your shed' thread, I've bought some Makpac boxes to store some of my power tools. I need to build some shelving underneath the new bench to fit them and some for other stuff. I've started planning some drawers for some of the bigger tools so tried laying them out within imaginary 35x45 cm drawers.

I'll make some simple plywood boxes with a loose insert with cutouts for the tools. Will make it easy to rearrange, when I change my mind.

Really enjoying this now everything is moving. Good stash. Looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds.
Never seen a Cycle Tech before - that's a pretty oddball looking frame!
