Bummer. What happened? Wheel not in dropout properly?
-
• #28
Wobbly wheel.
Noticed it yesterday on ride home. Probably been doing it for a month or so.
Wheel now trued. -

Such a great stable of bikes, something for all conditions.

Thanks! They're pretty fantastic all in all.
The Talbot now has race wheels and is quick as.
Just waiting on some fatter tyres for the GreyHouse, and then I'll consider the joys of 650b. -

Been riding the GreyHouse for a few days in varying conditions.
It was comfy as for commuting around town for errands and work- and looks subtle enough in a bike rack.
And then took it to the farm, where it was excellent. Nippy, stiff, light and the 44 x 10/42 gearing is fucking ace. -

Talbot got some new shoes today.
Quite like them. -

Right. 2017 beckons.
A simpler time will be had.
Aims for the year- project wise- Tart the Talbot up.
- Do it all bike.
- Wife's bike.
Aims for the year- riding wise:
- TT a fair bit.
- Race Cx next season.
- 6,000 miles. (4,500 in 2016)...
- As and when race some crits.
- maybe after August ride some track.
So the stable should look like this:
(London)- TT
- Fixed/ tarck
- Do it all
- Tarty bike.
(Farm)
- Fat bike
- Geekhouse.
All of this is enough for any man.
- Tart the Talbot up.

Updates from 2016:
- Cannondale is dead (thanks range-rover driver)
- PinkHouse is either going to be sold or stored for a fair bit.
- GreyHouse is in use on the farm- its preferred environment- and it is amazing.
- Wife has begun to somewhat enjoy riding the fat-bikes that we have hidden down there too.
- Cannondale is dead (thanks range-rover driver)

So. Some photos.
- Tarck biek:
- TT bike (note LFGSS colors):
- Wife's bike that I brazed at PhoenixHotworks- which was excellent.
- Fat bikes in the back of the farm truck:
Others are just shots of building the wife's bike up.
Plan is to get it painted.
Then porteur bars, thumb shifters, cable-actuated hyrdaulic disc, 1x 11 group, 650b wheels.

Darren barber, north London. (Harrow ish). Good for those of us who might have access to a shed and welding equipment- really hands on.
I will eventually do a full write up. -

Shouldn't that have the opposite effect?
Watch out for the 3cm rule.

Pretty sure he was at Bespoked a couple of years ago- when I drove all LMNH's cups down after they forgot them.

Good guesses all.
Do it all bike complete*. Done 1 ride on it so far- and it was pretty amazing. Looking forward to lighter mornings/ afternoons so I can mix in some Epping forest to the commute.*awaiting some 650b wheels from superstar, and some Hunt 700c tubeless so these can go back to the gumwall 28c for fast(ish) road riding. Plan was to try and enter something stupid like TCR, but the dates for that don't work with work, so we'll see what I get up to.

Are those bottle cage bosses on the top tube!?
I really like the paint. Will be a reminder to not be a total asshat in future.
