  • Aw :(

    Frog bikes are really nice.

  • Iโ€™m almost disappointed that there arenโ€™t any comments lol

  • Ordered clothing from vitkac...read site several times, they say customs charges included. Hmmm we wait and see.

Getting called a bullshitter on frog bikes online cos "my bike shop can still get everything from the EU". Hard to understand the difference between EXport and IMport for some it seems ๐Ÿ™„

Edit: it's all the fault of frog bikes for being incompetent. They should just sell in the UK more (they sell here too) Ah yes, the great internet.

  • I like Frog bikes a lot, my daughter's had two of them so far, they're really nice and seem significantly better value than Islabikes. I suspect they're having hard times at the minute, practically every bike is out of stock on their website (and LBS around here).

They should just sell in the UK more

Exactly - and their customers should just be prepared to buy more UK bikes. Don't get a Colnago, get a Frog instead :/

  • I got a Hoy for my son as there was a deal on Evans, many kids bikes weigh a metric tonne.

Perhaps Halfords ones are better now, the affordable but not shit kids bike market was non existing 3 years ago. Frog isn't that cheap, but very nice. Just not everybody has the cash for a Frog/Hoy.

So the guy giving off with the bike shop already knows how to do international exports...cha...
I asked him what his delays/marketup etc. are.

Westminster to launch inquiry into migrants in NI (good!) and experiences with EU SS scheme (good)

But then it is chaired by a Tory...having trust issues. Though it is Simon Hoare who doesn't seem to be a raving Brexiter.

I guess that's why he got this "non sexy" job to do, but perhaps he is OK.

  • perhaps he is OK.

    He's a Tory.

  • I know...if he were a brexit fanboy I'd not give him the chance.

Trying not to have that reaction as the Tory fans have that "but LABOURRRRRR" reaction whenever Labour comes up.

  • โ€˜โ€œThe English are feral, and they were fed for years and years off, if you stubbed your toe you got disability living allowance for the rest of your life โ€ฆ The English need to be retrained that, to feed your family, if you have to go and scrub toilets โ€ฆ thatโ€™s what you do,โ€ said one female from the west Midlands."

    Jaysus...!

  • He's a Tory.

Some have been okay. Kenneth Clarke and his time as Justice Secretary for example.

  • Sounds like a column from the Mail.

  • The paper of the gammons "5 minute hate"

Boris Johnson to get rid of "ludicrous" Irish sea border trade barriers...he signed up for ๐Ÿ™„

Diplomats on both sides must have unendless patience.

  • He said he would take whatever steps necessary to end barriers created by the EU Withdrawal Agreement.

The obvious step is deeper integration....

  • Stick to EU food rules & EU plant rules & Finish infrastructure = Problem mostly solved.

But I'd be surprised if it ends up that logical as Westminster (the Tories of course...though there have been a few rebels) all voted against proper food rules.

    Who knows though...

  • It's the NI contradiction - to permit a US trade deal we have to be able to trash our food standards, but we've promised we won't do that, yet it's the only thing that is stopping us aligning SPS to remove 90% of the barriers to trade with NI, but inflaming the situation with NI puts a US trade deal further out of reach. Round and round we go.

  • There is more sense in this roundabout than there is in NI.

  • You know that was originally French right :) They just invented a whole new load of stories and characters to match the animations. Much like the news we get these days.

  • I knew that. ๐Ÿ˜ and the drug associations too. It makes more sense than NI at the best of times ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Stick to EU food rules & EU plant rules & Finish infrastructure

    But muh sovereignty!

  • The NI protocol comes up for a vote in stormont in 4 years.

    That's gonna be... fun.

    Unionist majority: Downvote huge issues
No majority: Protocol stays, unionists parties playing the victim

UUP backing protocol with other parties: Not seeing it ATM. That would sideline DUP and TUV and be hilarious.

  • Selling used Campag bottom bracket on eBay.

Stupid customs fees to Italy as eBay routes via England, buyer cancels.

Gonna have to be a Royal mail NI > mainland EU do it myself job...

Most medical supplies come from GB ATM.

    Another Brexit dividend ๐Ÿ™„

Of course blaming the protocol is nonsense it is Brexit, hopefully something can be sorted. But since NI has to comply with EU rules, not sure how easy it will be.
