I would encourage everyone on this thread to share the petition via private message with everyone they know.

From bbc website -Theresa May has said she "sincerely hopes" the UK will leave the EU with a deal and she is still "working on" ensuring Parliament's agreement.
Given all the promises she has failed to deliver I am fearful that she has any prospect of making her hopes reality.

Almost seriously - anything stopping us restarting the countdown by revoking (which we don't need permission for) and then invoking fresh. Apart from it being colossally shambolic of course.
The ECJ made a ruling last year on whether the UK can unilaterally revoke or extend A50.
It rules that we need EU approval to extend but can revoke unilaterally. BUT, the revocation could not be with a view to reinvoke (soon?) thereafter.
So no, it would be illegal.

I've missed c. 10 pages of thread, has she found a way to present her deal to parliament again ?

With aplomb and a flourish?

I'm interested in what people would think would happen if A50 revocation became a thing.
Well at least 895,000 people think we should revoke and remain in the EU.
Me included. Try and put this behind us.

Response from mine which, although thorough, I presume is a template response...
Thank you for your email about the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union.
Many local residents have contacted me about Brexit, and many have been asking for me to do four things; to vote against the government’s deal; to oppose leaving the EU without a deal; to extend Article 50; and to push for a public vote on Brexit.I agree with all these four approaches. That’s why last week I once again voted against the Prime Minister’s deal and helped ensure another heavy defeat for it. I am pleased that the Speaker has now put it on record that the Prime Minister cannot bring substantially the same deal back to parliament for another meaningful vote. If another version of the Prime Minister's deal is brought back to parliament, I will not be supporting it.
There is currently no majority in parliament for any proposed way forward, and I will support moves in Parliament to find a consensus on a way forward. I believe that the Prime Minister has acted with irresponsible intransigence in relation to the Brexit process, and the reason we are in our current situation is because she has been unwilling to seek a consensus within and outside Parliament. I believe that leaving the EU is a profound mistake, and I hope we will reverse the decision, but if we are to leave we need to agree as close an economic relationship as possible to protect our economy.
I have been a supporter of a public vote (with an option to remain in the EU on the ballot) for some time, and I believe the compromise put forward by my colleagues Phil Wilson MP and Peter Kyle MP may be a possible solution to the current impasse. This plan proposes that Parliament allows the government's deal to pass with the proviso that it is then put forward to a public vote, in which "remain" would be the alternative proposal on the ballot. I believe this may be the only viable way to get a public vote proposal through parliament - although my view is that any deal that is eventually agreed ought to go to the public for a confirmatory vote. In any future public vote I would campaign strongly to remain in the EU.
I hope this is helpful in understanding my position.

Who tho?
I'd email Lammy, but am pretty confident it's not necessary.

I did laugh at the advert for the game 'The Division 2' on that feed!

Petition should hit a million at about 2.45pm, by my reckoning.
That is really quite something, even for a filter bubble.

How would we then appease the majority that voted to leave the EU. Presumably we'd have to?
The survey thing...yeah I get it but ~17 million voted at the ballot to remain so why are we excited about 1M in an online survey?

I don't understand why this is any harder than appeasing the remain and non voters after pulling a no deal. Explain why it turned out to be a terrible idea. Show some leadership

Because this is 1 million in less than 24 hours, with no referendum buildup or infrastructure. It is also demonstrates the utter absence of a groundswell viral petition for no-deal or TMWA.

Can I ask why you think this? What happens if there is no such appeasement? Pitchforks?

- Directly refute the lies with facts upon which their decision was based
- Expose how they were actually manipulated and who by
- Address their righteous anger and discontent from being entirely marginalised

There are some for whom leaving the EU is the thing. But it seems there were also many who voted to leave for other reasons - employment, the economy not working for them (thus the Remain campaign's focus on the macro economy of the UK not convincing them), immigration, to stick two fingers up at Westminster, blue passports, I'm sure there are others...
Improving these things whilst remaining in the EU is possible. A brave government might address these, rather than pursuing an increasingly divisive and damaging agenda of leaving at all costs.
I reckon you could appease at least some of those who voted to leave (there will always be some rampant adherents for whom anything less than leaving, invading Europe as a newly virile sovereign nation, and installing Empire 2.0 will be the height of treason). -

The conspiracy theorist in me is concerned that there is a concerted effort to destabilise countries domestically to create a such a breakdown and invoke the totalitarian powers that have been legislated for through executive orders in the USA, and through SI's in the UK
Defusing that tension through exposing lies, and fostering harmony is essential.
Just watched it for a couple of thousand.
Seems to be incrementing by at least 200 per refresh period.
