I have a Dyson for allergy/dust stuff. I like the design and the power. GF had a Henry, she loved it, I that it stank, exuding a musty odour whenever you used it.
I won’t buy a Dyson again. GF still keeps banging on about her Henry.. -

All hoovers stink if they happen to get water in. At some point she must have inadvertently vacuumed a patch of liquid.
-

Throw some laundry powder / bio-tex onto the floor and hoover it up with your smelly hoover to make it smell nicer when it's hoovering.

If only there was a product you could shake on the floor before you vac. Something which would put the freshness back.
-
• #16883
Put the freshness back?

?
The ex colleague i messagaed was always a bit blasé to company politics, and literally never went to RDD blueprint meetings, so probably not the most up to date on current affairs, but he said he had no knowlwdge of the move and it was news to him when we spoke yesterday!
I stand by my total shit heap products comment.

I have no idea. I'm two years out the loop.

• #16888
Of course!
Why didn't I think of that? -

I'm really trying to decide whether or not to search for "what happens when you pee into a Dyson airblade"
-
• #16890
The worst thing about the Dyson airblade is that if you have long fingers, they bash into the scummy filthy water that pools at the bottom of it. Not designed for people with large hands.
Can't be a great design if you have to wash your hands again after drying them.
Admittedly, the above is an extreme example.

Well all this vacuum chat has been fucking riveting.
Can we have a run down of everyone's fridge of choice next?
-
• #16892
Not Smeg.
-
• #16893
Although I'm glad to find out I'm not the only chump on a Dyson/wetherspoons avoidance strategy.

Alternatively a run down of everyone's fudge of choice perhaps? Mine’s delay of A50 followed by a GE.

Can we have a run down of everyone's fridge of choice next?
GE followed by an A++.
(Actually Bosch, or anything made by Bosch so also Siemens and Neff).

Can you speak to someone and get them to sort your website out?
It's fucking terrible.
Henry for full house cleaning.
Refurbed (i.e. not too pricey) Dyson V6 for quickly clearing up after the child whirlwind, catching spiders and doing the car (n.b. child whirlwind).
I won't buy another Dyson after his actions in the last three years.
