You are wrong
He worked there

lol. Nobody has ever tried to piss into a normal hand dryer. Surely.
-
• #16856
Yeh totally remember @hoops working there.
Why you call bullshit? :/On the Vacuum front the best I’ve ever had is a hazardous dust Numatic. We used it for fine glass particles and general workshop use but borrowed it for deep cleaning at end of lease. So freaking powerful...

I think you underestimate the power of alcohol.

We are a multiple vacuum household
Charles for watery spills, dog mess/vomit etc
Miele for general vacuuming
Dyson hand held for dealing with wasps and hornets - easy to suck them into vortex of doom as I suffer from anaphylaxis and don’t want to risk trying to swat them and get stung -
• #16859
Should have bought a miele, they are better.

• #16860
Really.

I know someone who worked in the factory making dysons, and that was a while back. Wankstain copier of the industrial vortex vacuum units, would sack people if the worker used the term hoover in front of him.

Awesome machines and rebuildable cheaply.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF BOOZE(All capitals) and stupid bets. Or the true meaning of a pissing competition.
Doesn't say not to be sick in to the dryer...

General question: why is a Miele better than anything else?
-
• #16865
Dyson DC08. Bought for under £200 brand new in 2003, still going strong, never had it serviced, never gone wrong, I wash the filters myself every couple of years.
I remember moving in with the gf and her cleaner leaving a note saying "New hoover is amazing. Thank you!"
Won't buy another one though as Dyson has proven himself to be a massive Brexitknobcock.

Miele come with a longer guarantee (the washing machines were awesome), feels more indestructible and last longer according to some. Win the which best buy and meet the EU derective of lower power electrical items and same level of cleaning.
I prefer numatic henry can be picked up for less than a £100 and can be easily repaired.

Seem to be lucky?
I had an interesting side line collecting broken dysons and selling them on. Very common issues and needed cleaning out as the fine particles stick inside the plastic.

Do you even #Knitterschutz bro?
-
• #16869
Hard Brexit costs Haribo et al €800 mio and 3,000 jobs. I doubt that Miele cares that much.

Basically bagged vacuums are about half the price of bagless ones for the same quality and Miele always scores top on the Which ratings.
Combine the two and the choice seems obvious.

I was thinking more along the lines of 'medicinal alcohol' when stuck in a limited supply area like an airport.

Would be good to think the good burghers of Wokingham would send John Redwood into political oblivion.

Our Miele packed up after only 8 years. We now have 2 sharks, corded in London and cordless in HK. The wife swears by them.
Spotted in a bar in Les Avants in Switzerland a few years ago. OK, it's not a Dyson, but that's not really the point.
