No not yet, I still have to finish the build. I'll remember to weigh it though.
From memory there was 200g difference between the forks.

Any updates with the bike?

Not yet :/ Too busy with other things. Wish I had time for building and riding bikes.

found this through the sale thread for the stem but dayyuuuum, it looks good.
Now more pictures!!!

Alright, this is done now (bar pedals).
Now I'm looking at these images, black tires would look better. Not the final update then.

Oh wow! That's so good. I like the gum walls a lot.
My only comment is can you please paint the post clamp assembly to match the stem the silver is distracting.

This is so, so awesome. Kinda agree about post clamp though.

Executed so well, this is great. The fork and stem are spot on. Well done sir! Hope you've got a lairy kit to match.

Looks great! Maybe some longer valves? :-)

• #63
Amazing, well done!

awesome job!

Congrats man, the fork end came out nice. As spotter said the post clamp would tie it all together but nevertheless very well executed.

Everything on this is done soo cleanly!
Can i get first dibs? ;)
-
• #67
I already called dibs some time ago :)
Looks tight, but agree on black tires and saddle clamp. -
• #68
Damn, 2nd dibs

Perfect!

Such a nice build! Black cables would top it off for me, though :)
That neon yellow is so strong. Do you have the colour code for it? It would be spot on when I repaint my Scott Pro Racing.

Absolutely banging

Thanks for the comments :). It's nice to breathe some new life into these old bikes.
re the seatpost. I might paint the clamp indeed, hadn't really considered that to be honest. Just did a PS edit and it doesn't look ott. Next photo will be from a ride, too much building bikes, not enough riding!

That looks awesome.

@larsenroad I don't have the code but the Fluorescent can I used was a standard one, no custom mix. You Just need to find a painter who can do Fluorescent paints and ask him I guess.
Have you got an approximate weight for this, as built? I know it's not at all intended to be weenie, but I'm still interested!
