PHEV works fine for us. Home charging from solar for in and around the city. So no emmisions there, which is nice. Hybrid for longer trips. Our Passat is more fuel efficient on hybrid than our small engined Cactus was, mind.
That against a background of costs as well. Pure EV family cars are out of our budget.
Seems fashionable to frame PHEVs unfortunately.
Edit. Most PHEVs I come across that are privately owned are being charged. The image has been skewed by company car riders who have little financial incentive to do so.

Yeah, had to repaint parts of the frame anyways. It's a bit ott but does feel right for that period :).
Roubaix suspension bikes were definitely an inspiration! The Rock Shox Paris-Roubaix forks were a variation on their Mag 20 or 21 forks but with a bit less travel iirc. This modded (chopped off canti bosses) SR fork is not as sophisticated but does the job and has a bit more travel. Geometry wise it came out spot on.

With a modded 26" SR Suntour suspension fork.
Rear Campag brake fitted to the front brake bridge. Seemed stiff enough on the first test ride. -

Ukrainian military just landed in Crimea apparently... Not sure yet if they want to gain a foothold there or that it was a singular operation and they left again.
Trump will make a deal with Putin and 'fix' the situation in the Ukraine. He'll 'win' there too.
