are there any good flat pedals for small feet/small bikes? I just threw on some V12s that practically hit the ground...

Sounds more like you need shorter cranks?

I ride an Xs with 165mm cranks. My pedals are bigger than my cranks (exag slightly but not by much)

Ah.
I have similar issues with occasional pedal strike when cornering on my Raleigh shopper folder. In the end, I just have to remember to be wary of pedal position. No help really, sorry.

yeah, esp with a long wheelbase low bottom bracket bike. My other option is to stick the speedplays i'm not using on ... harf.

Use bigger tyres. You're welcome

Bigger wheels/tyres?

If you are on an Xs with 165 pedals then I assume you have smaller feet. How big of a platform do you want? Wellgo KC001 (~£30 on ebay) might be worth looking into. Those are the smallest platformed pedals I could find for my son's bike to when looking for an upgrade to zero-grip plastic pedals. He loves them and they are proper pedals too.

old type + drill press + appropriate size tap + set of pins?

I have considered this!^ Maybe without a pillar drill as I am well shonky. Just tap the sockety bits, stick in some pins.

Drilling on a slab of wood, unclamped. Love it.

Ah! I saw them on Riv website, didn’t read the blurb...
Will get some from A.N. Other Cycles LBS innit.

All the best drill jobs are done this way.

I prefer leaning on a small fence post or old garden furniture
they look ok but no pins in the middle or outside makes it a no from me!
get secondhand superstar nano pedals - all of mine have been excellent
