  • Nice!

  • Tidy!
There is a 55cm Swiss Cross on eBay at the mo. . .

  • Cheers chaps.

Shakedown was with three lads on road bikes and, whilst I noticed it didn't roll as quickly as a road bike on the roads, it wasn't as different as I thought.

Very responsive, a 'kind' ride (dampened a little of the harshness of previous bikes which is great for my recovering broken wrist), and an eye catching setup.

  • @joel_austen - why would you point that out?!

OK so hands up - who would I be bidding against?

  • how is braking?

  • I might be selling my Ritchey in the coming months to make way for something new. Gauging interest before I make any solid plans. Anyone interested?

Size 53. Rad custom paint. Ultegra 6800. Hed Belgium+/CK R45 or Could whack on a set of 3t Accelero pro wheels for a cheaper deal.

Could also do a deal for F&F and groupset.

  • Carbon braking surface (or bassalt at least) and canti brakes...not great compared to past brakes but workable, even on descents.

  • Hmm, frame and fork, shipped to Australia? Colour matches the local eucalyptus trees...

  • Pm'd you about the f/f. Just out of interest how tall are you? Even though it's a 53, it looks quite long, maybe to long for me. But then again maybe the price may be too high for me, taking the paint job into consideration.

  • y u so short

If someone takes the F&F I might be interested in the group and 3T wheels.

  • TRP CX 8.4, will be a world of improvment

  • im looking for a 49cm road logic if someone wants to sell there one.

  • I'm five foot seven and three quarters.
Would probably want at least £500 for the F&F.

  • Y u so tall!
Will let you know if it goes that way!

  • Ha! Same height as me, so maybe not too long. Will do some sums, moving house middle of next month, so funds permitting and whether it's still available, I may be in, don't wait on me though, if somebody else wants it.

  • Totally missed you pointer here @spotter !

I'll see how I get on and, more importantly, what the primary use of the bike ends up being. I'll be using my Zipps on here as my clincher wheelset so I'll see how they go with different pads and braking surfaces.

  • So I won the swiss cross disc that was on eBay (mentioned upthread)... Now, how to build an all-road / adventure bike for some bikepacking trips?

  • Good work, though I think you were bidding against another forum local were you not?

Make sure you post up pics once built

  • Not sure - I was the one who asked who I would be bidding against and noone replied!

Will update once I have progress...

  • @hoops how much for complete?

  • Must have been bidding against you then-I wasn't aware of this thread till it just popped up on my Today feed... sod's law.

Damn damn and double damn. I wanted that Swiss Cross more than I knew but glad it's gone to a forumenger.

  • If anyone else has a Swiss Cross disc in 55cm pls let me know!

  • Terrible photo of my Road Logic.
