That Attitude is lovely. Is it for sale?
-
• #458
Yes, not so much a "current project" as the Criterium as it's being sold complete, but it's built exactly as it would have been when it was (quite literally) my dream bike in the 1990's.

Stealtake the white Flite and put it on your Criterium? -
• #460
I'm just debating buying that Attitude at the moment. Vendor says it'd fit me, it's (I believe) a 22", which has a 24" top tube. For comparison my old Cannondale Rush had a 23" top tube, so this is a big old frame.
What to do?

That stem is teh sex.

BN, would you take it off my hands for what I paid if it's too large?
-
• #466
It looks to be about the same size as my old CAAD2, so not quite right for me.
Besides, I already have my dream mtb :-)
How tall are you, Neil?

Should be fine. I appreciate you lose the option of stem swapping on something like that.
Can knock you up a bikecad drawing, if you like?

Klein say the XL/22" is for riders who are 6' to 6'4", I'm (somewhat annoyingly) 6'1.5".

It's lovely but I reckon too big.
-
• #471
Well, I'm going to find out one way or the other. I would hope that I'd be able to move it on for what I paid for it if it's too large. The current owner is an inch and a half shorter than me and says it's fine on the road but too large for the trail - he thinks it'd be spot on for me, but of course he's trying to sell it to me.

Someone will be along to use the word "chuckable" in a mintue...
-
• #473
It does sound like it would fit.
May not be small enough to feel 'chuckable' on tight singletrack.
A reach measurement could be nice.
Needs skinwalls....

We can build a stem if it's wrong. BUY BUY BUY!
Needs white hoods.
