It's Thron so not massively exciting, I'd say around £200 mark.

I posted you a link for a tricolor groupset for sale on here (page 4). I also have some zipp carbon wheels with tricolor hubs, not NOS though.

Yes, thanks for that - the group wasn't quite what I was looking for, I'd like NOS components if possible.
I've got a pair of DA 7403 hubs on the way, I'm now looking for 32h tubular rims to be built onto them.
I've also just ordered a 6400 rear and 6401 front mech - and the matching 130mm 600 stem.
I can't see a pair of 175mm cranks anywhere, so if someone spots those in near new/NOS condition please let me know.
I also need some 8 speed down tube shifters for less than a million pounds.

Simplex Retrofriction will work beautifully.

No

Better than old Shimano 8 speed that's for sure.

And significantly worse than DA 9,000, which has been considered as an option and discarded. Do keep up Ed.

Ok, I have a (mainly) NOS Ultegra 600 group on the way, with some 7403 hubs.
Hit me with some rim suggestions? 32h.

Clinchers or tubs, NOS or modern?

Obvious retro looking choice is H Plus Son TB14

Tubs, NOS.

quickly scrolling through - if you get the 600 and need to pass it on, I'd love to stick it on my dave lloyd. and yes, the non-windowed derailleur works fine with 8 speed. I've also got a spare 600 front shifter, think it was in v good nick, can't remember.

You wouldn't just grab a pair of Mavic reflex rims?
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/mavic-reflex-cd-tubular-700c-622-road-rim-cd-prod23984/Or some kind of CXP30? although pain if the eyelets fail.

Are these Nemesis?

I was thinking along these lines:

• #144
Or these, which are built up onto 600 hubs, so I'd just have to glue the tubs on: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAMPAGNOLO-OMEGA-STRADA-tubular-wheelset-SHIMANO-excellent-PRICE-REDUCTION-/151857132246?hash=item235b63f2d6:g:9HsAAOSwd4tTvA2n

Campag rims with Shimano groupset? I'm not sure.

If you bought a Klein fully built with DA back in 1990 it'd come with Campag rims.
-
• #147
If you'd bought a Klein in 1990 you either had a mammoth paper round or were a spoilt cunt.
Campag rims is nice

I had a £5 5 speed racer that my mum bought from a jumble sale and that my grandad serviced (including silver hammerite paint job).
But I wanted a Klein.

Can you still buy 8 speed HG cassettes?
Thanks for that - what do you think I could/should move the frame on for?
