  • Anyone got a perfetto? Are they much different to a gabba in terms of weight? I've got one of the first generation gabbas and if the sun comes out between 'foul' weather, it's the hottest thing in the world

  • I've got a perfetto. Only worn it once on a clubrun in August. The forecast mixed showers turned into overcast with sunny spells. So I can't comment on the waterproofing, but would assume it's as good as the gabba (also have). I didn't overheat though, and only needed to unzip it a bit, which definitely wouldn't have been the case with the gabba. So I'm happy with it.

  • I'm a size Small in all Rapha gear which fits perfectly - what size Gabba should I get? Reviews say to size up but can't really trust the fat MAMILs. I'm looking to get the Gabba 2 Convertible in Blue. Thanks

  • I'm 177cm, 70kg and 38inch chest and wear a small which is tight but nice.

  • Or just go to a shop and try it on.

  • I'm a small in Rapha and Castelli so I'd advise against sizing up. It will be tight but that's as it should be. If I'd got a medium the shoulders would have been too big with the pockets and ass-flap hanging over the saddle...

  • I'm small in rapha, small in castelli

As @MitzEclipse rightlfuly points out, the sizing up advice is more for portly Mercedes driving bankers and whatnot

  • I tried to do this but they all had security wires through them in Evans. Oh well, £90 pounds that they won't be getting just yet. Also, why does the price of Gabbas keep fluctuating at the moment? Seem to be £140 one week, then £90 the next, and then back up to £140 the week after! Currently £91 quid for the SS version on Wiggle...must resist.

  • I gotta gabba 2, size small, for sale here ----> https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/288633

  • Buy it, try it, return it if necessary

  • So the Gabba is now named the Perfetto?!?

  • Parentini Mossa looks interesting: "make your sweat work for you"...

  • I think the perfetto is a thinner more summer suited gabba. Gabba is still gabba.

  • any good gabba deals about atm? looking for a large

  • The arse flap on my Gabba never stays around my arse.

  • £70 in a couple of colours at Wiggle.

Anyone tried the summer version (Imprevisto)? Only £40.

  • £68 all colours at Mantel.

  • I got one of these recently, it's a gabba with Sidi branding.

  • says rapha on it ..

  • No good if you can't see it!

The price: is there a sale or something or permanently reduced?

  • Its the V1 shadow currently in sale, decent price IMO.

  • Gabba short sleeve currenty £87 at sigma - decent range of colours and sizes. Good deal?

I'm tempted but not sure on sizing.

I'm 6'3", 88kg. I don't like things to be too tight. Size guide says xl but I think that's going to be small on me. I've got an xxl sportful jersey and that's in no way too large.

Anyone similar size to me that's bought one?

    thanks..

  • Ordered XL and XXL, and now can't decide which one to send back. XL is "race fit" by my nodder standards. It's a bit tight across the shoulders. The XXL has a little bit of room in it.
