I just got a rather exciting message from HMRC saying I'm due back some tax money. What's the best value gravel bike around at the moment? I already have a MTB so looking more towards the all road spectrum than monstercross stylee

How did you receive said message? I have only ever got a letter in the post directly with the cheque, all emails are a scam!

The Arkose is better. To me the top of bang for your buck alloy gravel bieks is Canyon, Arkose, Ribble and Vitus.

yeah - think I'm settled on the arkose. just nervous that I buy and then sales come online next week. thinking about it, summer sales probably towards tail end of september so will probably just bite the bullet

Could always buy new bike in sale and return it to first retailer.

Cool that they actually give it a refresh, but prefer the look of my older CDA frame. Straight tubing is for steel and titanium.

No new models due until early spring next year, if that helps. Evans have been good with managing those situations in the past ime. Often OK to refund the difference if it was a recent purchase.

I'm looking for an affordable no-nonsens gravel/cx frameset. Would ideally be flatmount disc/qr dropouts. Seems like it's really hard to find good deals on framesets - mainly complete bikes only. Any suggestions where to look?
