Hope.
Imagine they will bring out the 20five rims in 650b soon

10x100 and 12x135
Sounds unlikely. 12x100 12x142 probably

Really? I don't think it's thru axle. It's the camo ss from 2015 ISH I think.

with a 105 groupset it's like 600 pounds difference? I like the Secan (just by looking online, haven't ridden one yet) but maybe not 600 pounds more... Value wise I think the gcr is the one to get.

• #6931
Haha then standard QR front and rear
-
• #6932
Phew.
-
• #6933
What’s the price difference? That’s my usual tiebreaker
-
• #6934
Main difference is the frame/forks. Secan a different class as much more refined frame. Higher quality tubing. A lot of thought put into the design. Manufactured in europe. Secan has bigger tyre clearance which makes it more versatile. Secan has two different frame versions for each size to suit different body types. CGR 725 a much more generic lower quality gravel frame.
I dont regret paying the extra or the wait for my Secan at all. It rides better than my titanium Sonder Camino and the Kinesis Tripster ATR and Genesis CDF I had before.
I guess it comes down to price and budget in the end. -

Why would anyone need drop bars with that gearing. Meh
-
• #6939
What’s drop bars got to do with gearing?
-
• #6940
No need to be long, or low, with such setup. I'd rather just have MTB bars for that.
Of course everyone will be raving on how incredibly useful are 600mm wide drops, flared bars and whatnot but nah -
• #6941
It’s not for aero. It’s for multiple hand positions. Think of it more as a gravel bike for mountain bike tyres rather than a mountain bike with road bars.
And the gearing is because Prolly built it to ride a route with 6000ft elevation in 55 miles with 18% inclines -

Why? Frame designed for 100mm travel sus forks, MTB gearing, dropper, and 29er wheels and tyres. I'm not saying it's bad, or not ideal, or it shouldn't exist, but I see a MTB with drops.

I’d have taken a mtb too for what it’s worth. But apparently it’s not a mtb, it was designed for drops. 80mm or rigid
-
• #6944
Geometry doesn't look like it was a 'conversion'
-
• #6945
It's got options. Some people would rather consolidate them all in one bike.
-
• #6946
What that fork??
-
• #6947
Yeah standard qr front rear. I have 650b mavic crossmax mtb wheels on my arkose.
-
• #6949
I have been fork shopping recently, I ended up with a Salsa Cromoto, but saw enough on the way to I think recognise that as a Salsa Cutthroat

Hello! It has. £700 dropper. Bye!
What flipping 650b off the shelf wheels will fit my arkose?
I bought some xt wheels on 319 rims for my other parent bike.
Is there something similar out there from rose? Or bike24.d?
What flipping axle spec do I need 10x100 and 12x135?
