They are the Velo Orange 63s - https://velo-orange.com/collections/fenders/products/vo-fluted-63mm-fenders-700c
With mine being colour matched to the frame and now I have black hardware on them which helps to blend in a little

Clearly, but the discussion was carbon vs aluminum I thought :)
New steel is always appealing, then I look at the weight of even a fancy frameset. I do quite like that you can dent steel and it might not kill you.

If I treated a Crux the same way I treated my Stanton, it'd be in about 4 pieces by now.
It depends what riding you're doing. I own and ride everything (except Ti and I'd ride that if I ever saw it cheap enough)

Agree, but sometimes accidents can't be avoided.
I've killed 2 x nice carbon frames now through chain drop and general clumsiness. Both fixed for not a lot and still running great. ESG Gravel.

It probably is in 4 pieces if you haven't built it yet..

This is true. I'll clarify by saying "Crux frame". My poor Stanton has the battle scars but it's rock solid... for now.

I'm hopefully going to be testing a set soon. Have wanted to try them for ages.

which ones?

This is what I am here for. I maintain orange Fox would go nice on my Crux.

Probably the kind shock one as they are a client.

Although that one is 40mm only. And I think I'd rather a 30mm option

Kind?

Thanks. Worth keeping in mind when I get a frame that will take a tyre bigger than 32mm

Read this thread>contact Specialized SG>no bikes my size in the country nor coming into the country>buy a Cannondale Slate on LFGSS>somehow get it to Singapore*
On a related note, to whom would people send a frame to have it painted in Horizon Linear Fade these days?
*Still to work out how to achieve this bit

I'm definitely putting S-Works stickers on my Crux, just to fuck with people that care. Maybe change the Crux stickers to Sux too.

No worries, those guards are very nicely made and I would recommend them, not a weight weanie but excellent at the job in hand and also provide the coverage which a lot don't!

Sux sticker would be awesome!
