@BareNecessities is right 33mm is a tad too wide for the 2.35" tyres I've got.

Thinking about how funny that micro suspension sram fork is lmao
Imagine servicing it
It’s like all the inconvenience of suspension
For what can be done with a redshift stem
Lmao
Mfs just get a bigger tyre 🤣🤣🤣
Truly wallet inspector tier stuff, unreal
Bike makers got it so easy, they just get a wealthy looking dude in some tonal Lycra, throw a little dry dirt everywhere and say how it feels “rad”
MFn finance workers clambering over themselves to get one for the weekend
Genuinely dire shit

Like where you riding it?????
Off road? Round the park?
Surely anything the travel handles you could do on a robust rigid fork????
What you gaining here other than novelty and a 12 month intrestless piece of credit to your name???
Philosophy of use box just titled “needed something to buy”
Sure people will come up with micro fringe cases, certain terrain
Might even get a “just do it because you can! Innovate!!, live and let live!”
But truly, single state owned bicycle company when

Those people are keeping the bicycle industry afloat so that you can still buy cheap 9 speed
-
• #20633
This is why you need to outlaw any speeds above 9 and reduce choice, allowing all research and development of bike tech to be handled by the state, sanctioned and then licensed to firms who produce it to spec
Ensuring we have good, robust equipment which is perfect for the consumer

Comrade Heine
Will you put your seal on the adoption of of through axels for the people’s bike?
not in my name comrade, they do not need the marginal rigidity, we already have a license exclusion carved out for those who prove specific competitive use cases and I’d like to tighten it up as it is!

Not really. It was sweet once it was repainted. In neon green pinnacle guise it looked sucky but resprayed with 42c tyres I loved it. That said I replaced it with a steel cross bike that fit the same size tyres but felt faster so no regrets. Although you're going the other way and going for even more off road.
You may miss the lightness as a mehteh with 2.1s is going to feel like a tank. -

hmmm thanks. Have the benefit of swapping wheels but maybe I can swing keeping the arkose on 38c tyres for commuter / touring and go chunky on a gravel specific build.
Just get a hardtail is probably the right answer or stop with the #buying

I will burn down everything you love if you try and take my 10spd brifters from me

I guess the 5700 neck tattoo didn't tip you off eh

8spd was better

Which one?
-
• #20643
53 x 11
If you can't gravel on that, it's time for an e-bike
-
• #20644
46x19 or 48x16 or GTFO

Brifters?
The people shift with the down tube, the bar end or the the Paul’s 31.8 sram shifter adapter clamp
Brifters are tools of the bourgeoisie to sew seeds of coveting and tastelessness amongst an otherwise resilient and prosperous society

Do those gear ratios deliver a suitable amount of skid patches to your trusty Gravel Kings?

Want.

250 quid !

Are those gravel-specific though?
It's surprisingly easy to use too wide a rim, and end up pushing the sidewall out further than the cornering tread, which isn't ideal
Different brands seem to suit different widths too, just to add to the general confusion
