UK Gravel News.
‘Maybe it's not the steal it once was, but the Kinesis Tripster ATR is a great bike that's everything from a fast audaxer to a fully laden bikepacker, depending on how you build it. It's fun and engaging, well thought out and beautiful.

Doesn't even mention the best specs:
- Will never be ridden in the mud

Wide drop bars are a ploy concocted by Big MTB to prevent graveleurs from using their trails.
Don't ask me how MTBs with even wider bars are able to pass through. Black magic probably.

They don’t, they’re being used for commuting and riding around Croydon.

So... after much deliberation, umming and aahhhhing, I've ordered my new bike. Decided on a Rondo RUUT AL1 in the end... it's going to be my winter/do it all bike for wood runs and some exploring round Essex... opted for Look MTB pedals as well over XTR spuds and grabbed a pair of Fizik Infinito shoes to finish the job... should be with me by the end of the month.
i feel like that is more the marketing than the reality, ironically.
in the us anyway it was the serious roadies made up the majority of 'gravel riders' from the get-go despite being advertised by lots of people riding party pace on crust bikes in flannels.
