I have a spare 700x45 WTB riddler kicking about - any reason I shouldn't run that on the back of my bike while keeping my 700x32 gravel king on the front? (other than the potentially questionable aesthetics...) also, any reason why I should? i.e. will it be more comfortable. the mismatching tanwall colours might bother me too much so entirely hypothetical at this stage

Yeah, I've got them in my mountain bike tyres, they allow you to run low pressures without burping the tyres or damaging the rim. They make getting the tyre off a pain in the arse though, but other than that all good.

I just watched this and threw my bike in the canal. That’s it I’m out.
Done a recce today and I can confirm there is no gravel in Rutland. I think we need to verify all counties. #nogravel
