19mm, same as the Superstar ultra wide rims.

Cool. Do you want to just PM me if/when you want to buy them and we'll work out delivery/payment deets. I know what you mean about the profile it looks great and is low which I like... plus its DT isn't it. So its hard to imagine it being a bad rim.
@Simba - good to know. So only 1mm between the two rims.

@hugo7 I found some in UK.

Cheers.
On my mobile the drilling doesn't seem to be showing. I might try from a PC.

I forgot you need other drillings. Wrote them an email. When they write back I will ask them about drillings..

I am thinking about getting my bars painted to match the frame and forks. I kind of like the coloured stem idea, but it sometimes get a bit much, and if I want to play around with stems this might be useless. So maybe colored bars are better...
I am afraid of the bars slipping though (as I am also considering using Thomson X2 stem). Solution might be to tape around the part of the bars where the stem sits (the white part on 3T bars), clear coat it and, while wet, sprinkle it with glitter or sand or whatever to make a non slip surface.
Result could be lie this?
yay or nay?

If the paint and lacquer isn't the exact same, you are looking for horror

Yes yes. I would get the painter to do it all for me. Also I intend on using a pair of Deda Rhm02 bars (so if it looks shit or doesn't work it doesn't matter). I have polished the bars on the tops. They measure 31.7mm where the clamp sits and 31.65mm after I polished them. With paint and sprinkle they should be back to 31.8mm

I think it works fine with the stem color matching on @Dammit and @Captain_P bikes
But I like karnevals and clowns in circuses as well

Or just use some gritty, grippy assembly paste?

Yes, that might be enough. And I already have that.

Thanks for the orders, As you can image i had quite a few archetype sales last night and most variants are out of stock now. Sadly that means i can’t fulfil your order for the 2x 32h black but please see the remaining stock i have below.
F***ing hell. I am really disappointed right now ;-(

Orders have been made.
Wheels: Mavic A719 32h / 3x DT Comp / 5800
Groupset: Shimano 105 5800, 175mm, 52/36 11-28Next step is to see whether things fit and getting headtube reamed. Then paint, decals and deciding on finishing kit.
And skipping the painted handlebar idea for sure. What was I thinking ;-)

BTW, Continental GP 4000sII in 28mm came out nearly 32mm at 80psi on 19mm internal rims.

Interesting. I vil end up with pave or Paris roubaix 27c I think. Have you had 23c on them? I have a lot of Durano plus I would like to get some use out of. Maybe they could mess my winter tires with mudguards. Btw what mudguards and tires are you able to fit in your forks?
-
• #119
23mm will fit, the biggest concern is damage to the rims due to it's being more exposed to the tarmac/gravel.
25mm work best with it, as they stretch to 27/28mm and still retain some room for a PDW full metal fender.

cool, thank you

Bought 28c gp4000s to go on my cross bike - they do come really wide, and are super smooooth

• #123
Ooof. Makes me wonder whether I should actually just get 25c
-
• #124
The 25mm come up near 28mm on normal rims at high pressure (80+psi, customer demand).

Least we know that the 105 brakes can handle 32mm tyres with the pads sit in the middle of the arm, which is better than I thought.
100 kg as we speak ;-)
