Yeah so that build that was going to happen on Friday... didn't happen on Friday but anyway, the beat saddle has arrived. I've always been after one of these, it's an old Flite Gel thingy saddle.

It's seen some action, it actually looks like it's in a lot better condition in the pics. I think over the harsh years of supporting an arse the "gel" has disappeared because it feels like its made out of fukin Oak.

It's like an old clog, knock someone out with it.

Yeah I've seen the one on ebay, it gave me top lols because I know that frame.

It used to belong to an old mate/ex courier. He had just picked frame&forks up and was on the way back home on his bike with the gangsta strapped to his back to when he taken out by a van, very bad times as you could imagine.

Wrote off the forks and bent the frame out true, he sold the frame on for like £170 odd two years ago as spares/repair. Now whoever this top joker is on ebay is now trying to shift it for £600 when W-Base sold two NOS V2 frame & fork's for £500 last month. And one NOS sold for $450 in the US last week, so this dude is obviously tripping ballz.

Might consider stripping it but it does look like shit already, all the fabric is ripped on one side from I guess was a crash. I'll probably just let nature take it's course for now and let all of the padding fall out on it's own.

Or I'll crash it on the other side an even it up, it's only a matter of time.

Atleast when you crash you can say it was intentional.

Did this last night, thinking of getting an Alpina seatpost off the bay. Other than that, the bars are so wide they don't fit through my front door.

@Uoeno haha! The bars are 680, I don't know where that puts me in the sauf #riserlyf league table but they are lels to ride.

And yeah the Pursuit Champion, I sold it about a year ago? Such a silly mistake, the Wing TT forks put me off the build, in hindsight I should have just stuck matt Alpina's on it and it would have been rad. I'd probably still be riding it to this day.

@timbre I was toying with the idea of black omnoms, I have a pair that came with the TK Pro but this is going against my build plan of a not too shouty build, same goes for the OG Ellipse's off of the Barry Chick build.
That being said, I'll probably swap the cranks and wheels over this Saturday and deny all knowledge of ever saying anything about a low key pub bike build.

Also @alialias @timbre I'll definitely be taking some decent pics when I've properly dialed it in, I was just itching to put something up for the thread.

Cheers @Rik_Van_Looy, have to say I probably wouldn't have gone for mad risers if I didn't see a pic of yours built up with a set. I'm shocked at how comfy I am on it considering it's so stiff, the power transfer through the rear triangle is epic, it's a great bike mate I'm chuffed.
