Cheers. Very much looking forward to it being completed, probably early/mid January, depending on how much filing/polishing needs doing, and how busy the powdercoaters are when it's ready for them.

Nice! So close!

Who's next to order a Varonha then? I'll miss the excitement when it's all over...

Give me a few months to see how I get on with this one, then maybe I'll have another!?!

Gorgeous. Imagine paying an Instagram frame builder way more than Winston charges and having to wait for half a year 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Ooooh those polished bits are nnniiiiccceeee

Think I struck lucky with my choice of builder, and he's a bloody lovely fella too, win win.

• #537
He's doing a fantastic job, I couldn't ask for more.

Apparently bars are arriving Weds 30/12, thought crimble/brexit/plague island may delay their arrival, seems not, German's are still efficient.
Merry crimble all. X -

This is going to be very very nice.

I hope so. Initial build probably won't do the frame justice, with the Tektro calipers and Spa cycles cranks, but they will suffice til I get everything dialled in, recover from paying for it, then the great hipstering will begin!
(The hipsterisation will probably involve goodies from Paul, Ultradynamico, Sim Works et al). -

Paul, Ultradynamico, Sim Works et al
This thread has changed!

No shit! Pointless me having a fancy frame without jewellery to go on it.
Paul because not many long drop calipers.
Ultradynamico because I'm in love with Ronnie.
Sim Works because they get Nitto to make em really really nice stems.
This is all long term upgrades, I'll use what I have if it works. -

I guess this is intially getting all the bits from the All City? I still think it will look great.

Paul because not many long drop calipers
Paul make some nice stuff for sure. I'd go Velo Orange Grand Cru.
-
• #549
VO not long drop, they're medium drop. Long as in lonnnnnng, 57-73mm, means they'll wrap around 42mm+ mudguards.

Only bits it's not getting are the medium drop calipers and the skinny 32mm tyres.
Frame and fork back from blasters. Filing has been started. So close.
