Now those I could get behind. Makes me sad knowing they'll probably be painted over. And look way less impressive/cool/interesting

It looks like a Cinelli Lazer.

Ultra record, pretty much the same as the "Charlie" frameset. Might start a cp on this.

Anybody know what the filler is made of on the cinelli laser of old?
I don't think it was all brazing filled down. May be a composite filler? -
• #322
I don't know but would guess a piece of sheet metal with filler (can't say I know the name of the type - and I realise that's what you're asking) built up around it, judging by the restorations I've seen.
There was one on here but the owner was bullied off. Here's one on retrobike, haven't read it through though.
^^^ that thing is awesome.

Probobly something similar to automotive body filler but worse
-

If it's white or cream in colour, it's probably a 2 part polyester filler like you'd use on car bodywork. There aren't really any other fillers you could use to do it with. Old style cellulose filler could do it, but would take months to dry and would crack if rushed. It would be really heavy it had been built up with fillets of braze.

Would filler not crack with the frame flexing. They are under and lot strain from a sprint rider.
