Love the matchy headset-brakes, but that crank is dogs dinner
-
• #5178
Agreed. Worst DA cranks they ever made I’d go as far to say. Looks wise.

Planning to use them for my own modern groupset on old frame project :(

No sad face. It’s only my opinion, who cares?! It’s your bike
-

True, I think I just want to convince myself that I'd prefer a 7800 groupset and spend less money on the build...
-

7800 is well sexeh
-
• #5184
If Hippy says so that's good enough for me... 7800 here we go.

7800 groupset with 7900 STI's is the tits. New levers are so much more comfortable on the hands (for me, anyway).
-

7800 is great. Don't worry about ergonomics, differences are marginal.

This sounds like a good plan! Also cable routing is much more appealing on the 7900 shifters... I think this might be the way forward on this build!

Very pretty.

But how will people know they're not generic cn carbon then?
-
• #5191
A discrete QR-code perhaps?
-
• #5192
If they could cut the branding out and lose the white flash would be a lot better.
