Good evening Mon Ami

Might have to stick it on eBay or GumTree, don't want to part with it for anything less than £800.00
-
• #29
There is an identical bike to yours on eBay at the moment so I would hold off!
Track that auction for an idea of pricing?
-
• #30
Thanks, do you think it makes much difference that this bike has never been used?
-
• #31
I would have thought so. The question is how much?
-
• #32
Price Drop: £850.00 including postage
-
• #33
If you've had it less than a month, why not return for a full refund. Or have I missed something obvious?

Black Friday price drop £850

• #35
Terrible result for this seller, so I wouldn't recommend auction :/
-
• #36
Seller didn't do himself any favours to be fair. Unless he was aiming for the 'Just stolen' eBay listing feel.

What a shocker!

I have bought 3 pistas on ebay.
1st one was £220 2005 EOM - frame only
2nd was full bike 2009 pista - £330 61cm tho so there is a limited market for those
3rd was Tempo - they're rare, but still got it for £330
the last two both cracked and died :/
you have good photos Declan list it with a reserve and see how you go?
-
• #39
yeah I messaged that seller about the frame size to clarify. bless them they had no clue
Zed ... do you still have that EOM? I'd kill for one of them again in 52cm. Mine was murdered by a driver.
-
• #40
No, I sold it on to another forumenger it was a 61cm anyways. they are rare as hens teeth. stiffest steel frame i have ridden....

bump...

There are a couple of pistas on eBay at the moment...
-
• #44
So much for not dropping below £800.
Seriously, I don't think this is the best place to try and recoup your outlay. If you've got time, put it on Gumtree, if not then maybe eBay with a reasonable starting price.

Good luck chap...
Selling such a quality bike at less than half the price you paid for it and never used. OUCH!
If nobody on Gumtree picks it up, stick it on eBay because some lucky git will have it at that price -
• #48
Thanks, we will see :)

To help people understand the sizing of this bike, the frame is 52cm and the wheels are 67cm so this would be suitable for someone who is 5'10" or 5'11".
Is there a clearer way of stating this for bike enthusiasts to understand in the adverts?
You called?
