So Neoprene is the essential winter glove?
Assos, Sportful and Castelli are priced pretty similarly at my local velocipede-supplier, so I just need to find out which one will leave me with most nimble fingers.
(I don't care how much 'grip' the silicone surface provides, it's the fingerspitzengefühl that matters from a safety perspective). -

Not for me.

if you want your hands to smell like they're rotting, yeah

So Neoprene is the essential winter glove?
There isn't one I'm afraid. During last winter I wore a variety or gloves, most of the time in combination of each other. I think during very early morning rides in Dec/Jan last year I was wearing 3 at a time. (Merino liner, Specialized softshell glove, specialized wind proof outer layer glove)

Craft lobsters- accept no imitation. Also the Proviz stuff is as breathable as a submarine hull, sweat to death at -40 at anything above a slow walk.

merino gloves all the way. but the one thing i have to use to avoid crippling ear ache is a winter cap with ear bits. got the old rapha deep winter hat and the wooly one. best things I ever bought.

i've got one of the condor branded winter caps which is pretty much identical to the rapha ones but about £20 less
-
• #311
How's the fit, good for fatheads?
-
• #312
what are the best winter tights? I want them to be super warm, maybe a wind proof front?
if cheap rather it had no pad
if pricey rather it had a pad -

I find the DHB padless ones great.

ripped a pair of these last year, so these are what are being replaced. Although not sure what model I had. After something warmer, didnt like the fit either, too tight in certain areas
Nanoflex...
was going to ask how these where, how do they fit size-wise?
-
• #319
I'm an XL in Castelli bibshorts, XL Nanoflex fit the same.
-
• #320
cool, might as well go for that as the deep winter dhb's are same price.
Im a small in their nanoflex and a small in the gabba
-
• #322
i'll take two :)

I've a gore path jacket in medium. Don't suppose anyone has a L or XL they want to swap for. I've only worn mine a few times.
-

Ha. I actually use a small, hence this never getting worn. I've a Small LeCol event which is great.
I want the L or XL to wear over other non-cycling jackets.
